LCS 40th Anniversary & Awards Potluck Dinner

    March 22, 2009

Students, tutors, and friends assembled at the Crown Hill location to celebrate the LCS 40th Anniversary. A multi-media presentation included a narrated series of images from the archives of the LCS and pictured its 40-year evolution. In an awards ceremony, students were recognized for their hard won achievements and volunteers were recognized for their dedication to the mission of the LCS. The potluck buffet following was a rich spread of salads, cheeses, meats, and of course, birthday cakes. Renditions of Neapolitan songs gave a sensational end to the festivities. This celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the LCS saluted the energy of the past and signaled the goals of the future.
